2 Fast, 2 Furious, 2 Hands in the Air, Midnight Club 2, 8 Ball, Rollin’ on 20’s, “We’re talking race cars nigga, this ain’t no joke”, “Pick up the phone” and “We ridin”! “Hell yeah”, this happens when you're listening the soundtrack from 2 Fast, 2 Furious while playing Midnight Club 2 because Rockstar didn't forget to implement the mp3 support in the game, just in case the tracks shipped don't fit your taste. I've been expecting this for months, I've been praying not to delay it and I’ve been following the homepage for in-game movies and screenshots. I think I'm sick. They say there's a special clinic for us here in Bucharest but I doubt they could treat us all so I'll give my place to some guy who fainted in an Internet Cafe after spending there more than two days without water and food. Internet and games kill. They kill our boredom, monotony, stupidity, loneliness and despair. Midnight Club 2 also kills the last drop of testosterone, adrenalin and caffeine you have in your body. And you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
"I'm 2 Fast, 2 Furious", I was singing during the last tracks while I was using my five NOS tanks at my disposal. Speed wasn't a problem any more, the traffic wasn't a problem any more and the pedestrians weren't a problem any more. The most important was the end of the track. Always number 1! The second and the third place are for losers. In the street only number 1 is respected, the rest are just coins in a pocket filled with hundreds. You've got three locations to show what you can do, Los Angeles, Paris and Tokyo and each time you'll be the one looking for trouble.
The car you have isn't always what you'd really wish but what the heck, life isn't fair all the time. I really can't say anything about the first and the last city but with Paris I'm somehow familiar and even if it doesn't respect the reality I must admit it is very well built, in a typical French manner but still adapted to the necessities of the game. Judging by analogy the same thing should describe the other two locations but a valid comparison should come from someone who visited those places. Each level is filled with shortcuts and insane jumps so you'll be surprised all right. Many times I failed to place the first because I didn't accelerate enough to cross the river or because hitting the NOS in a fog worse than my smoked chicken from last week resulted in the ugliest crash I’ve ever seen.
