Microsoft has released a preview version of its next generation graphical interface. Originally intended for the 'Longhorn' version of Windows, slated for release in 2006, Microsoft now says that it will be releasing versions for Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server. According to Microsoft, the ambitious Avalon project 'unifies how Windows creates, displays, and manipulates documents, media, and (the) user interface'. To achieve that goal, Microsoft is basing the project on a new version of XML - XAML - that will enable developers to create and build on new user interfaces. The so called 'Avalon Community Technology Preview' was originally made available to members of the Microsoft Developers Network last November. Microsoft is presumably now sufficiently sure of its stability to open it to a wider audience. The download also includes a first cut of the WinFX SDK, which includes documentation, tools, and code samples for building 'Avalon' applications. Anyone interested can take a look at the preview on the Microsoft Microsoft download site Microsoft says the version will run on Windows XP with Service Pack 2. deci intr-un final am reusit sa instalez...ce? pai nici eu nu stiu. mi-a instalalt Microsoft win FX SDKs asta dupa ce a mai downloadat inca vreo 36 mb de pe net de visual basic 2005 beta. n-am reusit sa instalez `interfata aia noua` da din ce am citit in read.me-uri este ceva cu o destula instabilitate si multe chestii nefunctionale (audio-video and printing suport). deci cu alte cuvinte....STOP dwl this unless u really like to waste ur time | ||

Acuma il instalez si eu ... dupa ce s-a copiat de pe net cum 1.5 Mb pe secunda... Va povestesc diseara despre el ..... Darkrain ... vad ca esti foarte entuziast despre acest subiect ... altfel nu aveai 10 din cele 20 de posturi ia explica tu mai bine diferentele majore intre interfata grafica curenta si asta noua, asta ca sa poti face si tu un post ontopic

Ti se pare ca posturile mele sunt oftopic?Ai numarat tu 20? hai...cand oi instala tu interfata asta `noua` mai vorbim. pana atunci sa ne spui si noua cum a decurs instalarea. Tu nu pricepi ca nu am reusit sa instalez nimic? Nu am vazut nici o interfata grafica noua. Asa ca povesteste-ne TU diferentele daca vei fi mai norocos si vei reusi sa dibuiesti cum sa instalezi aceasta noua interfata grafica. eu am povestit nitel mai sus de ce m-am lasat pagubas. | ||
